SATURDAY (the 25th) is the rain date for the rescheduled SUMMIT MUSIC FESTIVAL at Lippitt Park starting at 1 pm (and free of charge), led by THE STOOGES BRASS BAND along with PVD greats MOGA, SMITH & WEEDEN, and THE MIGHTY GOOD BOYS. Plenty of family fun, as well as Trinity's beer garden and food truck eats on site. The Newport Yachting Center hosts the CELTIC ROCK FESTIVAL, billed as "10 hours of continuous Celtic shenanigans" starting at noontime on Saturday, with live sets from The Screaming Orphans, Eileen Ivers, Gaelic Storm, and more; call 401.846.1600 or hit up newportwaterfrontevents.com.
