Sweet nanthings
Peshawari nan from the Bombay Club
Although the peshawari nan (leavened bread baked in a clay oven)
at Bombay Club (57 JFK Street, Cambridge, 661-8100) is served as an appetizer,
you could just as easily eat it for dessert. Made with a heavenly purée
of fresh coconut, golden raisins, and cashews, this taste combo is so unusual
and so sinfully delicious you may find yourseld coming up with fictitious
reasons to go to Harvard Square just to eat a few. Price: $3.10 each.
