Olympic's homemade chicken soup

Larry Gikas, the Greek owner of the Olympic House of Pizza, serves a chicken soup worthy of a medal. Following a twenty-year-old recipe, Gikas makes the soup daily with plenty of noodles, carrots, onions, tomatoes, lemon, and shredded chicken. Available throughout the winter, the soup costs $2.15 for a 16 ounce portion. The restaurant, located at 810 Mount Auburn Street, in Watertown, also has take-out and delivery. Call 926-1800.
