John Macy's CheeseSticks

Noshing & Sipping by Theresa Regli

Martha's Vineyard native John Macy got involved in the food business as a teen, when he catered clambakes. A while later, after he launched a full-service catering business, he invented a signature appetizer: CheeseSticks, chunks of cheese baked into crunchy sourdough twists. Macy's CheeseSticks come in original cheddar, savory Swiss, romano garlic, cheddar and scallion, sweet chocolate, and sweet cinnamon. (How the latter fit into the cheese category we're not entirely sure.) Try the cheesy varieties with onion dip for some added zing.
