For years, I heard about Joe's extraordinary roast-beef sandwiches from locals and tradespeople in the know. How appropriate that Joe's is located close to Victory Field, for its sandwich -- stuffed with tender beef, containing just the right amount of lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and mayonnaise -- turns out to be a real winner. It comes in two sizes: $3.75 for a bulkie roll, $4 for a sub.
