Australian Bill Bennett follows his ill-conceived caper romp Two If by Sea with this well-crafted, modestly successful noir, which again has two lovers (Frances O'Connor and Matt Day) on the run from the law and other unsavory characters. It's not a killer of a thriller, just an enjoyable peck on the cheek.
