Danny Glover, Mel Gibson, Joe Pesci, and Rene Russo are back; the new faces are Hong Kong martial-arts star Jet Li as a Chinese mobster and Chris Rock as a jive-talking officer. The story inexplicably takes more than two hours to relate; not only are they getting too old for this shit, as Glover's Sergeant Murtaugh complains, this shit is just getting too old.
