Why Do Fools Fall in Love

Gregory Nava's tale of '50s pop star Frankie Lymon and his three wives -- Halle Berry, Vivica A. Fox, Lela Rochon -- has a pulse but no heart; the flashback-filled story tells you what happened but not why you should care. The musical atmosphere and the talented female cast give the film a vibrant push forward, but the so-what ending leaves you wondering what it all was for.
