Booty Call

Somehow Jamie Foxx makes getting busy with a woman while reciting a sexed-up version of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech seem good-natured fun. He plays Bunz, a hyperactive swinger whose only goal is to get into the ladies' pants. He meets his match with Lysterine (Vivica A. Fox), but the two have to deal with pals Rushon (Tommy Davidson) and Nikki (Tamala Jones), who won't do the deed until they can find proper protection -- a task easier said than done. Directed by Jeff Pollack, who co-created The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Booty Call is a sit-com with more skin and an unhealthy dose of jabs at Asian-Americans. Although you've seen many of the jokes before (Foxx speaking fluent Chinese is a direct ripoff of Wayne's World), they're still pretty funny when Foxx delivers them. At the Cheri, the Fresh Pond, and the Allston and in the suburbs.
