"HOPE AND HEALING: PAINTING IN ITALY IN A TIME OF PLAGUE, 1500-1800." The Worcester Art Museum, with an assist from the College of the Holy Cross, presents what’s being billed as "the first major exhibit outside Europe to explore art’s role during the plague," with works by Tintoretto, Canaletto, Mignard, and Van Dyck. It runs April 3 through September 25, but you can get a sneak peak during an April 2 preview party at the museum.
