Chung Shin Yuan

Weekdays, this is another run-of-the-mill Mandarin/Szechuan restaurant. But the Taiwanese brunch here on Saturdays and Sundays is Newton's best-kept secret. Line up by 11:15 for the 11:30 opening and enjoy jellyfish salad (better than it sounds), steamed pork dumplings, and fried bread dipped in a bowl of sweet soy milk.
