Dear Readers –
Well, the glitches on this end are still being hammered out – but hey, sometimes that’s a cartoon hammer, y’know? Last month, the error was Taurus being listed twice (once for Virgo), and the Virgos reacted in a humbling yet typical fashion. “I might be missing something, but that's a very Virgo thing
to say, now isn't it?” writes Misty C. “ It's just that I so need to know where my tumultuous life is headed.... sigh.” Whereas Andrea S. took the more Mercurial Virgo approach, and wrote: “So, this month the Phoenix put the Taurus horoscope where the Virgo one should be. Did they think that would go uncriticized? I don't think so.”
We know Virgo can criticize and it’s fixed! It’s fixed! And I figured out a method of getting the copy to the paper more efficiently, I hope. (Hey, Mercury retrogrades are good for something – “thinking out of the box,” y’know?)
This month, Venus is hanging out during the daytime, setting not long after sunset, and visible in its thinning crescent phase. (Use a filter if the sun’s out during your observation). Astrologically, this is a Venus retrograde (in Aries, conjuncting the sun). Our last Venus retrograde was late summer, 1999 (in Virgo and Leo), and if you had love matters accelerate or dissipate then, figure that neutrality is not what this ammonia-bathed sky goddess is about. Happily, the spring equinox (on March 20) will sort us all out, although if you’re in the position of supervising or being supervised by a fire sign, take all your vitamins.
Ad astra!
