SEXUAL PERVERSITY IN CHICAGO AND DUCK VARIATIONS | The American Repertory Theatre's "Sex, Satire, Romance, and Ducks" tribute to David Mamet concludes with this double bill of early Mamet one-acts. In the first, Chicago couple Danny and Deborah are perverse enough to want to move in together, but that'll leave Danny's friend Bernard and Deborah's friend Joan feeling left out. TUTTODANTE | Oscar Best Actor winner Roberto Benigni (for his Life Is Beautiful) uses Dante to talk about current events in this one-man show, which he's been presenting in Italy over the past three years. WORKING | Metro Stage Company revives the 1978 Broadway (24 performances) musical based on the book by Studs Terkel, with book by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso and music by, among others, James Taylor. Twenty-six "average American workers" ranging from ironworkers and supermarket cashiers to waitresses and housewives tell their story in individual monologues.
