Karl Stevens, you are a pretentious douchebag. Just because someone brings their kids to an art show doesn't mean they are less enlightened than your holier-than-thou hipster ass, maybe they want their children to appreciate a form of creative expression that is all too often ignored in a day where kids are addicted to video games, TV, internet, etc. I know you totally can't concentrate on the inner meaning of the works of Picasso and Degas while the intolerable spawn of the wretched breeders drones on around you, but please, do me a favor and try to tolerate the unwashed masses, for it's this type of elitist attitude that turns people off from fine art in the first place.

P.S. People like you ruined Jamaica Plain and for that matter are slowly ruining the city. Neighborhoods that suffer from inner city blight are supposedly made better with "redevelopment" (read: gentrification) but after constantly enduring insufferable, upper-crust, granola-consuming faux bohemians like you wherever I go in Boston, I almost wish my car would get broken into. Take your punk ass back to Allston/Brighton where you belong.
