How much do you work out?
I do yoga everyday. Most days I do a full practice, but once in awhile I do a headstand and take a couple of deep breaths and then call it a day. I also hike and walk long distances everyday, because I have a crazy 110-pound black lab who will not take “no” for an answer.
Do you watch what you eat, or does this body just come naturally?
Um, yes, and yes.
What’s your favorite guilty-pleasure food?
If I am going to feel guilty about it, then it’s just not worth it. Food doesn’t taste good if you have to eat it in the closet.
You’ve got a great body now, but did you ever go through that “awkward” stage?
Yeah, when I got pregnant with my first baby and gained 60 pounds. That was a weird experience. I actually liked it . . . although tying my own shoes was not an option. I had to ask other people to tie them for me. We find out who our true friends are at times like that.
If you could have anyone else’s body, whose would it be?
I’m good with mine, but thank you for offering.
Favorite exercise?
Yoga, rock climbing, dancing, or anything active outside in the woods. Breathing fresh air is my favorite.
Least favorite exercise?
I tried spinning once, and I just didn’t get it. I really wanted to like it, but the chemistry was all wrong. I felt unsettled by being on a bike and not going anywhere. I think we were listening to Def Leppard. That part was okay.
What’s the best body compliment you’ve ever received?
My son recently told me that I looked strong enough to play rugby. For those who don’t know rugby, that is a
compliment.
What do you consider your best body part?
I like my feet. I like my lips, I like my hips . . . I just like me and all my parts, so I can’t just pick one.
