SATURDAY (the 24th) gigs of note include THAT'LL LEARN YA, PROUD OF STUPID THINGS, and the BOB KENDALL BAND at the Ocean Mist (401.782.3740), while STAR FORCE TRIO and FRIED MIRACLE play the Apartment (401.228.7222). And an early heads up for two shows of note taking place next THURSDAY (the 29th): either get rowdy at the Parlour (formerly the Penalty Box, 401.383.5858) for a grand reopening bash featuring ATLANTIC THRILLS, RAVI SHAVI, and YANKEE BANG BANG; or head to Firehouse 13 for the Low Anthem's JOCIE ADAMS headlining with guests JOHN RIVER SHANNON and ANNIE & THE BEEKEEPERS.
