Some grizzlies are nasty (see: Animal Planet). Some grizzlies are sweet (see: Grizzly Adams). And some grizzlies are complete losers (see: the NBA’s Memphis franchise). But there are also grizzlies that confound and delight with their otherworldly indie avant-pop. Those grizzlies hardly seem grizzly at all, but rather whimsical, albeit in a trippy, fucked-up kinda way.

Nevertheless, said latter grizzlies are known as Grizzly Bear, a Brooklyn foursome with Boston roots. And you can see them — FREE! — courtesy of the Phoenix. Just text us a simple, honey-tinged note that reads GRIZZLY. That’s all you gotta do. Text the word GRIZZLY to 22122*, and you will be entered into a random drawing to win yourself and a pal a pair of tickets to see Grizzly Bear next Thursday (August 14) at the Museum of Fine Arts’ Calderwood Courtyard.

*Standard text-messaging rates apply.
