As OccupyMaine activists withdraw their lawsuit against the city, they also continue to plan events and produce video installments of both OccupyMaine TV and The People's Mike for community-access television and online viewing. And Phoenix writer Chris Faraone is self-publishing his first book, 99 Nights with the 99 Percent (Write To Power, $14.99), dropping softly around New England this week.

Subtitled "Dispatches from the First Three Months of the Occupy Revolution," at its core the project is a time capsule from the center of last year's biggest news story, including exclusive photos shot at protests all around the country, accounts of encampments and Occupations from coast to coast, and a timeline of date-specific haikus about Occupy — "Occupaikus" — covering the first 100 days of the movement.

Faraone has written two special Occupaikus for Portland's Occupation, and we present them here as a teaser for the book, which he says is the Occupy book that uses "words like 'fuck' and 'shitsucker' the most."
