These days, Joe says Boston Vapes sells about 60 units a month in the $65-to-$300 price range. He's also become the local marijuana movement's answer to the Avon Lady, traveling to wherever weed and devil-sticks aficionados are grooving — from the MassCann Freedom Rally on Boston Common, to Extravaganja in Amherst this weekend.

"With my regular job, I don't feel like I'm helping people," says Joe. "But with this I do — it's my passion on the side. Yes, we're making money doing it, but we're also providing an important service. You can go to any head shop in town and get a vaporizer, but you're just buying it from them. The relationship ends there."
