The Big Ligotti

By CHRIS FARAONE  |  March 3, 2010

Those opinions might scare the canvas sneakers off progressives — particularly since rumors swirled that the registered Republican is considering a run against Merrimack Valley congresswoman Niki Tsongas this November (it's unlikely, but possible). If Brown ever runs for president, Ligotti will likely be his Reverend Jeremiah Wright, having once referred to Nancy Pelosi as an "asshole liberal bitch," and to Mexicans as "truck-driving spics." For now, though, The Guy from Boston is buddies with the truck-driving senator, and he's determined to be the loudest voice at the tea party ("or whatever fucking label pissed-off people want to put on their movement").

"I don't think America is ready for Joe Ligotti to run for office, because people don't like being pissed off by their elected representatives," he says. "But I'm still coming, baby. Look at this fucking face and all three of these chins: nobody shuts me the fuck up. Nobody."
