Get your anti-Romney merch here
BY ADAM REILLY

Another reason for Mitt Romney to clarify his thoughts on abortion ASAP: you can now buy a wealth of merchandise online that suggests the governor is actually pro-choice. Of course, Romney, who’s tacking right on abortion, wouldn’t like this description one bit (see "In the Mix," page 14) — and it’s a safe bet his political handlers would like it even less.

If you’d like to annoy the governor, but would rather focus on another issue, don’t fret — there are plenty more anti-Romney items available. Like the MITT ROMNEY: NO/STEM CELLS: YES bike-messenger bag ("From school, to carrying your laptop, to a hip alternative diaper bag," $22.99, available only in bright yellow). Or a SCREW MITT ROMNEY/SAVE OUR STATE bumper sticker ($3.99). Or a bevy of ROMNEY GO HOME products, from beer steins and camisoles to organic T-shirts and classic thongs, natch.

All of which, when you get down to it, can only be good news for the governor. Glowing articles in National Review or the Weekly Standard are all well and good. But when opponents fear you enough to commodify you, you’ve really arrived.

Meet your anti-Romney swag needs at www.cafepress.com/metaphorsecrets/558008.
