After an exhaustive search of our brains, experiences, and the insights of our friends and relations, we at the Portland Phoenix unveil a checklist of Maine summer pleasures. Knock off one item in each category, and you'll reap the great rewards of the season. Finish everything, and you'll add to that prize the satisfaction of knowing you're a crazy (but dedicated) list-accomplisher. Hop to it — and remember, it's not a competition, but the one who does the most enjoys life more.
