STATIONEIGHTYFIVE have a new album ready for summer release. A five-song EP titled Hoka Hey!, the effort will be celebrated with a gig at the Empire July 31.
SORCHA releases her third full-length effort, Laughing and Lamenting, with a big-time roots gig at SPACE Gallery on June 5, where she’ll be joined by JERKS OF GRASS, SEAN MENCHER, PUTNAM SMITH, and her own band RAMBLIN’ RED. Word is everybody involved will be backing Sorcha at one time or another, as will producer/performer PETE MORSE, who’ll dabble in pedal steel and electric guitar.
CLARA BERRY has a new disc ready and will drop Creature with a gig at the North Star Music Café on June 24.
