Hey! Here’s a last-minute reminder for  the Midday Social happening on THURSDAY (the 28th) at Platforms in Providence. Hand-deliver your music to various media and booking reps from across New England and mingle. The Midday Social is all ages and free-of-charge! Do it. On FRIDAY (the 29th), the Newport Rock the Fort concert series at Fort Adams State Park concludes with rock legend Rick Derringer and special guests starting around 7 pm; the show is 21-plus and tix are $25. A big weekend at Nick-a-Nee’s kicks off with the Johnny Watson Band on Friday, followed by the long-awaited CD release by the Sugar Honey Iced Tea on SATURDAY (the 30th), with very special guests  the Mighty Good Boys opening.
