We also get flak from our fellow New England fans as somehow not being “really” fans because we also like soccer. Just for the record, folks: the Revs brought New England its first piece of silverware this year [in October 2007] by winning the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, one of the oldest soccer tournaments in the world.
